I watched a market report on the morning of December 10, 2018. The DJIA was down over 400 points. A “market analyst” explained the reason.

She said investors were “spooked” by the trade war with China and uncertainty over the Mueller investigation.

The market recovered its losses and returned to positive territory at 3 pm. There is still a trade war with China and uncertainty over the Mueller investigation. Efforts to assign reasons to why the market goes up or down is just babble.

No one knows.

Yet another reason to ignore the financial media. Much of what it reports isn’t accurate or reliable.
