Here’s what I’m up to these days.
I continue to blog weekly for Advisor Perspectives (coaching tips for investment advisors). I also write two newsletters a week. One for investors and the other for advisors. Both continue to add subscribers. You can sign up for either or both here.
My YouTube investing channel passed the 1000 subscriber milestone recently. Please check it out. If you like it, please share it with your social media contacts and encourage them to subscribe.
I continue to speak at business development conferences sponsored by Dimensional Fund Advisors and at events for advisory firms and TAMPs.
I’m excited to announce a non-exclusive, strategic alliance with Forum Financial. You can read details here. I’m coaching a large number of Forum advisors via videoconference.
Our digital marketing firm, Evidence Based Advisor Marketing has quickly established itself as the “go to” firm for evidence-based advisors who want to create or update their websites, using the latest research. We provide, content, design and turnkey videos. You can view our work here.
These advisors do right by their clients. It’s our privilege to help them get more assets under management.
I started Middle America’s Plan to help middle class Americans. This demographic is underserved or poorly served. We enlisted a cadre of advisors willing to implement our Plan. You can read details here. This is strictly a charitable endeavor for me, but it has been very rewarding.
I’ve been traveling extensively for business, but am looking forward to October when Patricia and I will be doing a 3-week trip to Europe. I may sneak in a little business, but it’s mainly pleasure. We will be in London, Paris, Vienna, Budapest and Dingle, Ireland (look it up!).
I have even more exciting news to share with you. I’m finishing up a proposal for a new book, tentatively entitled:
Ask
Be liked. Be loved. Be Better
It’s a self-help book intended for the general public, building on the extensive research in my prior book, The Smartest Sales Book You’ll Ever Read.
The reception to my coaching has been so gratifying. I think everyone can benefit from the lessons in my book and coaching, which are based on peer-reviewed research in the fields of psychology and neuroscience.
We started a webpage for Ask. We will be updating it regularly. When the time is right, I’ll add a sign-up form offering a free review copy of the book for those who are willing to write an Amazon review.
Patricia and I will be going to Old Lyme, CT in July, where she will take a short course at the Lyme Art Association. I know I’m biased, but her work is stunning.
Here’s an image of one of her still life paintings titled : Aesop’s Fable.

Here’s another, called: Spilled Lavender.

I’m grateful to everyone who is supportive of my work. I feel like I’m having an impact, which is why I continue my efforts.
Finally, I couldn’t do what I do without the support of a really wonderful team. My thanks to Susan, Jen and, our latest team member, Yessel. They are all wonderful, professional, intelligent and responsible.
