Here’s what I’m up to these days.
I continue to blog weekly for The Huffington Post (investing subjects) and Advisor Perspectives (coaching tips for investment advisors).
I completed a proposal for a new book. The working title is: The New World of Investing: Three-minute Insights Wall Street Hopes You Won’t Learn. It’s difficult to get a book published these days, but I’m trying. You can find the book proposal here. I would love your feedback.
My coaching practice for investment advisors has expanded. I have clients in the U.S., Canada and Australia. It’s particularly enjoyable for me to help advisors who are doing right by their clients convert more prospects. Their success means fewer victims for the securities industry. Most of my coaching work is done via Skype, but I also travel to give workshops to groups of advisors.
I continue to give talks to investors and advisors. In February, I will be in Seattle and Vancouver.
I’m very excited about a new investing YouTube channel that will launch in early February. We are in post-production for the first 15 videos and are working on many more. You can preview what these videos will look like here. My channel will break new ground in how investing information is conveyed. I have high hopes it will make a real impact.
In response to many requests, I’m working on a template that will help advisors communicate more effectively with prospects and clients. I’ve put together a wonderful team of graphic designers and illustrators. Examples will be on my web page in late January.
My weekly newsletter for investors is gaining subscribers at a rapid rate. You can sign up here.
On the non-business side, my wife and I just came back from a wonderful vacation at The Sea Ranch, CA. If you haven’t been there, and are looking for a complete break, I highly recommend it.
I continue to be focused on eating healthy and exercise, along with daily meditation. For me, all three are critical to leading a balanced life.
